New Microwave!!

Thanks to Gray, we have a free microwave! It looks styling and it seems to work just fine. I knew good karma would come my way if I started giving away things (like the kids' clothes, toys and books they've outgrown). Now I need to get me some frozen TV dinners!!

The Re-REvitalization of the Crapalicious Mail Box

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. POW! We've outdone ourselves once more!

Wait for it... THE HOOD IS DONE!!!

WOO HOO!!! I can't believe my house is getting closer and closer to completeness!! Fence and closets, here we come!! Builder Dad sure spends every spare minute on this house (well, unless a UT football game is on that is!)

My extended kitchen

I'm so happy to finally be almost done with this kitchen!! We now have storage and a little homework nook at the end!!

Colorful Daycare Center

Well, the green and yellow day care center behind/beside our house is now being painted red and white. It went from a jolly rancher to a candy cane. It's starting to look much better though!

Wow- $200K!!!

Crazy!! The "camel back roof" property next door to us just went up for sale. They're asking $200K for it! Unbelievable!! And the house on it even needs to be torn down!! We got a great deal for our house!!

More progress

I know this is slowly but surely... but here is some more progress as of this weekend. Notice, I STILL don't have my hood, but I do have one linen closet with a full length mirror attached to it. Also, I'm grateful that the walls got painted behind the hood and near the thermostat. Now we just need to find a day we can turn off all of the electricity (since the electricians labeled everything wrong... Builder Dad figured that out the hard way- electrocution style). Also, I'm happy to have an extra drawer in the kitchen... as well as some more counter space!!
