The Ever Changing Face of Crack House

Fence Posts for Side Fence

We will get wood from somewhere (recycled from Craigslist, Habitat Re-Store, etc) and will have a chicken coop on this side of the house one day. Yum, fresh eggs always.

More Inside Paint

We've finally wised up. Boys and flat, white paint do not mix. We've successfully painted the bottom half of the walls in the living room, hallway and boys' bathroom with high gloss paint. We still have a long way to go but we're getting there. It's so much easier to clean!! Also, finally after 3 years in this house, we're starting to put up some art work.

Play House Building and Deck Deconstruction

So after all the work on the deck a couple years ago, we've decided it would better serve as a playhouse. The deck is kind of in the way for soccer games as well. All will work out just fine. We're hoping the dog stops jumping up the tree so we can remove our current tree art installation.

Re-paint

We've decided flat white paint does not go with dirty little paws. I think dog paws would be much cleaner than 7 and 5 year old boys paws. So, we're prepping the guest bathroom first for the glossy paint. Why do we try to do all of the house projects on the same day? Especially when that day is Halloween? Oh, and did I mention it's also laundry day? Been at least 2 weeks since hubby did his.

The Joys of Building a Shed

We're finally getting around to building that Ready Made shed we purchased plans for several years ago. Hubby built the floor a few weeks ago.

Then he built the sides, front and back frames yesterday.

Then today, we carried the sides, back and front to the backyard and screwed them all together.

Next, we put on the roof and the side corrugated paneling.

Halloween-ilicious Mailbox

New mailbox, new spider web, new rope, need I say more?
