Builder let us know today that the lumber delivery was kind of botched yesterday (ummm, yes, it seemed that way when I was lurking around the lot watching the sole man try to unload the lumber by himself). It turns out that the delivery guy assumed we'd have a crew of men with a forklift to help him when he got there. Unfortunately, NO, that's usually why you see those big lumber trucks towing a forklift behind them--- because it's they're responsibility to actually DELIVER the lumber. Okay okay, so he dumped the lumber on the curb outside of the broken fence and left it there overnight. The framer dudes got behind on their current project (because of the rain yesterday) and said they will not be able to tend to our needs until Monday. So, Builder rented a forklift on Saturday morning, dumped all the lumber onto the lot, semi-fixed the gate and locked it up. Thanks to T & P's visit to the lot today, we now have some more pictures!! They do tell a thousand words!!
